Demonstrating the Great Escape Ladder

Since winning the Brtish Inventors Society Medal for Best Industrial Design in 2004 and 2006, the Building Regulation Approved Document B4, has been ratified, it has been updatded and instructs that all dwellings above 4.5 meters from ground floor level must have alternative means of escape.

Most people across the UK, Europe and beyond, still do not have alternative means of escape in their homes.

The Insurance Industry are spending many millions of £'s, every year for injuries (minor and serious) on people who were involved in house fires and should therefore find ways to reduce spending money by reducing the risk of being injured.

The British Safety Council's Director General, James Tye, went on a prime slot BBC TV show "Eureka" and said "of the hundread or so escape ladders he had seen at exhibitions all round the world, the Great Escape Ladder is the Best".

If more people could escape injuries by having alternative routes of escape installed in their homes, this would reduce the problem, create Jobs and wealth and ultimately save life should there ever be a serious fire.
